The St. Gallen MUN Conference has earned a distinguished reputation for combining academic excellence with a unique and vibrant delegate experience. Taking place from December 5th to 8th, this year’s conference promises to be even more remarkable as we celebrate the beginning of the festive season with a blend of stimulating committee sessions, exciting social events, and a cozy winter atmosphere.

Since the formation of our Secretariat by Dorka and Egan, we have focused on bringing together motivated MUNers from diverse backgrounds. Our 2024 Secretariat is composed of 10 members from three universities, representing 10 different countries. This diversity not only reflects our global perspective but also ensures a dynamic and inclusive experience for every participant. We are proud to collaborate with UNYA, the umbrella organization of Swiss MUN societies, in our efforts to revitalize the Swiss MUN scene.

After a one-year hiatus, this year’s conference will feature the classic St. Gallen MUN experience: engaging and expertly moderated sessions, along with accommodation covered by the delegate fee, serviced directly by our Secretariat. We are also introducing some exciting new features, including specialized committees such as the International Press Corps (IPC), the connection between HNATO and the Warsaw Pact, and a simulation of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) focused on the Eurovision contest, as Europe eagerly awaits Switzerland’s turn to host the event next year.

In addition to the academic rigor, we’ll kick off the holiday season with unforgettable social events. This year’s events will include, among others, a gala night.
